Direct-to-film (DTF) is a new decoration method that involves printing your design as a film transfer, and then applying it to the garment via heat press. While it may sound similar, it's different to Direct-to-Garment (DTG) so don't get them confused!
We provide DTF printing on specific garments where direct-to-film will yield a better print result (such as polyester, heavy fabrics, caps, hi-vis and activewear).
Semi-transparencies, glows, drop shadows, thin lines/text, small isolated dots, and soft edges are not suitable for DTF printing, so we recommend not to include them in your artwork for this product.
Max print area for garments: 35cm W x 45cm H (artwork is resized to suit your garment size)
If your artwork is placed outside of our guidelines it will be cut off. Read our full guidelines here.
PNG file preferred with a transparent background, JPG is also accepted but will require the background to be removed. If you can not do this yourself please contact us PRIOR to placing your order.
Do not upload any other file types such as PDF, SVG, EPS etc. Printing full colour photographs with a background is OK!
Save files at the highest resolution possible (between 200 to 300 DPI) and at the largest size possible to accommodate any resizing involved. For DTG, we can print below 150 DPI but this may result in an overall 'soft' image.
For DTF all artwork MUST be between 200 to 300 DPI. Fine lines and small details should also be between 1-2mm thick.
Size Guide: We highly recommend carefully checking the size chart above when ordering as we can't return, exchange or reprint items that were the wrong size. If in doubt, measure a garment that you currently wear and check those measurements against our size guides.
Artwork Placements: How you place your artwork and see it in the preview is how we will print it.
Print variations on garments: The fabric composition, fabric weights and dyes used can affect the overall print result. This can occur with any print method and we don't consider it to be a defective print.
These variances can occur not only from brand to brand but from within the same brand as well.
Colour discrepancies: Please note that actual garment colours may vary compared to the colours you see on screen due to variations in monitors.
Colour Reproduction: How colours in your artwork look on screen and how it prints in real life will be different as, to simply put it, you are viewing colours in two different mediums. For an idea of what to expect please read our artwork guidelines.
QR Codes: Ensure that any QR code artwork is saved at a high-resolution for functionality.
QR codes will only be checked if we are asked to, we'll test it on screen and once printed. If not we don't do any testing as it can be a privacy concern.

What print method do you use?
We specialise in direct to garment printing which is a very similar concept to your at home digital printer.
It involves the use of ink that is sprayed directly onto your garment which is then quickly absorbed into the fabric. For coloured garments an underbase is first applied to help the coloured ink pop on top.
Only select styles (AS Colour Heavy tees and tanks + faded tees and tanks) will be printed using our direct to film print method.
What's included in the price?
Prices include a one-sided print and to print on extra side is just +$10 per garment.
Can bring my own apparel/merchandise for you to print on?
No, we do not print on supplied garments. We only print on items we have thoroughly tried and tested so that we can guarantee you the best possible print result.
We have discounted rates with all our major wholesalers, so you can be sure you're getting a great deal.
Can I get a a better deal if I buy more than 10 items?
Yes, absolutely! We have bulk discounts in place to support our customers that order in larger quantities. This is our discount breakdown (discount excludes RUSH fees and extra sided prints).
10+ items = 10% off
20+ items = 15% off
50+ items = 20% off
Can I have different items in my order to reach the discounts?
Yes of course! You can have a range of styles, colours, sizes and designs in your order to hit our bulk discount ranges.
Can I combine multiple orders or add to my order?
We unfortunately can not add to or combine orders, please double-check your cart before checking out!
We can only accommodate order changes if you need size, colour or style adjustments (not added).
Can I buy blank garments?
As we are a printing company, we do not sell blank garments. You are more than welcome to print any image on the style that you have chosen and place it either front or back as this is included in the price.
